Introduction to Rotary Compensator

 The rotary compensator is a displacement compensation device used for heating network pipelines, mainly composed of inner and outer pipes, sealing fillers, and spring compression devices. The feature of this utility model is that the spring compression flange and the inner tube are matched with a small gap through high-precision machining. Two to three combinations of this utility model are used to absorb and compensate the axial displacement and thrust of the heating network pipeline. The rotary compensator product has good sealing performance and does not need to be shut down for maintenance. Moreover, the product adopts precision machining, making the coordination between product parts more reasonable and assembly more accurate, ensuring the concentricity of the product. The product's ability to withstand angular and lateral displacement is greatly improved, with good stability, and the product's stability and sealing are improved.

Rotary compensator is a new type of compensator for thermal expansion compensation in thermal pipelines. The structure of a rotary compensator mainly consists of an integral sealing seat, a sealing gland, a large and small head, antifriction centering bearings, sealing materials, rotating cylinders, and other components. When installed on a thermal pipeline, more than two pairs are required to form a relative rotation to absorb the thermal displacement of the pipeline, thereby reducing the stress in the pipeline.

Rotating compensators are generally installed in a group of 150-500 meters on pipelines (which can be determined based on natural terrain), with over ten installation forms that can be determined based on the direction of the pipeline. After using a rotary compensator, the spacing between fixed supports increases. To avoid bending of the pipe section, guide supports should be appropriately added. To reduce the frictional resistance of the pipe section during operation, rolling bearings should be installed on the sliding supports.  

When the wear of the packing is large, the spring tension cannot meet the adjustment. External force can be used to adjust the spring compression to achieve the required sealing effect without stopping working. Therefore, the rotary compensator overcomes the shortcomings of other similar products. The original rotary and sleeve compensators cannot compensate and adjust in a timely manner when the packing is worn, resulting in a decrease in the sealing performance of the expansion joint until leakage occurs.
